Our Farm was built in the '30s with bricks and stones gathered from the area around us.
It's located between Pienza and Monticchiello, right in the middle of the
Orcia Valley Artistic Natural and Cultural Park, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004.
The Farm was bought by the Mangiavacchi family in the 1965: we have gradually renovated it bit by bit
and we have improved the quality of the food we produce by introducing new
crops: cereals, olive oil, saffron, jams, spelt, chickpeas, barley, saffron beer and
flour made from ancients grains. Every aspect of our job, from cropping to hosting, is managed
directly and only by The Family because we want to spread and share the traditions of our Family.
